<p>A Columbus native, Byron Henry attended the Ohio State University for both his undergraduate education and graduate dental school training.  He then went on to further his education at the Indiana University Medical Center, where he completed a four year surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.  After his postgraduate education, he and his family returned home to Columbus where he continues to maintain a private practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery.<br />
Dr. Henry has been traveling overseas since 1996 on humanitarian missions.  Over the last decade, the majority of his overseas surgical work has been involved with the cleft lip and palate patient, something very near and dear to him.  Since the initial encounter with cleft children in his surgical residency, Dr. Henry felt he had a “natural attraction” to these children.  He knew that he wanted to help cleft children in impoverished countries to lead richer, more fulfilling and better lives.<br />
 In September of 2008, Dr. Henry co-founded along with his wife, Stacy, a non-profit humanitarian organization called the Free to Smile Foundation. The Free to Smile Foundation provides free cleft lip and palate and dental surgery to the underprivileged and impoverished children and adolescents throughout the world.   Free to Smile Foundation touches the lives of children in Asia, South America and Africa.</p>

graduated with a Business degree in 1990 from the McIntyre School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and began his career at The Home Depot and transitioned into real estate investing and development in the mid-1990s. After winning multiple 1 st place awards at The Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association in the early 2000s for his multi-family developments, Matt formed Ornstein-Schuler Capital Partners with his friend Frank Schuler and still continues as the CEO today. </p>
<p>In 2020, Matt Ornstein co-founded and became Co-Chief Executive Officer of Fortem Holdings, a private equity and investment firm that has a portfolio of several operating businesses and real estate development companies. </p>

<p>Ralf Tomandl has enjoyed a varied career in Health Care and Dental companies. He has held multiple senior level positions, steering both tech start-ups as well as multi product companies to success. Currently he is the COO at HR for Health, the leading HR software solution for dental offices in the United States. </p>
<p>Ralf was instrumental in successfully launching the DSO New Patient Division for Futuredontics® in early 2010. Since 2016 he has been advising both DSO’s and Private Equity companies in the non-clinical aspects of the dental industry. </p>
<p>He launched the DSO Leadership Summit®, an annual meeting of dental industry executives, finance and HR professionals. He is uniquely qualified to offer perspective on how DSO’s need to interact with technology solutions to gain efficiency and return on their investments.</p>


Ralf Tomandl

<p>Dr. Ro is a proud graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), College of Dentistry.  In addition to his DDS degree, he also obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola University with dual emphases in finance and marketing.  He later capitalized on the opportunity to utilize all three when he purchased his first practice in the south suburbs of Chicago in 2008, where (despite a historically difficult period in the country’s economy) he led the practice on an exponential growth path from three employees operating in 650 square feet of space into a 25+ network of multi-specialty dental group practices with almost 100 dentists and dental specialists. In 2019, Dr. Ro founded the dental consulting firm DSO Strategy, LLC, which was created to help entrepreneurial dentists strategize a growth plan for their dental group practices that would transform each not only into a thriving DSO, but also an investable platform for institutional capital.  He also served as a key advisor to multiple private-equity funds as well as banks.</p>
<p>Dr. Ro is perhaps most known for his last role as Head of Dentistry for Walmart.  Walmart Health is a set of revolutionary multi-modality healthcare centers that include primary medicine and dentistry.  Dr. Ro’s strategy and multiunit healthcare services experience have been paramount to Walmart in helping align and re-align the strategy and expansion of Walmart Health, now in 4 states. After the successful completion of building a scalable model and plan for Walmart Health, Dr. Ro recently stepped away to pursue other ventures, including consulting and advisory work for the healthcare industry at large through DSO Strategy. </p>
<p>Dr. Ro resides with his family in Atlanta, GA, although he still considers himself a Chicagoan, which will always remain his heart and hometown.</p>


Roshan Parikh

<p>Dr. Ryan Hungate is the Chief Clinical Officer of Henry Schein One, an orthodontist, and the founder of Simplifeye, Inc.  As an entrepreneur, he has lead a revolution in software automation for thousands of practices integrating patient  engagement technology and modern payment infrastructures. Before dentistry, Dr. Hungate designed the Apple retail workflow with industry veteran Ron Johnson at Apple, Inc. He holds a DDS from Indiana University and completed his Orthodontics specialty at the University of Southern California. Dr. Hungate pioneered new orthognathic surgical planning methods and patented a 3D surgical splint enhancing orthognathic surgical accuracy. Before becoming a COO, Vanessa spent years developing dental teams by working side-by-side with them, accomplishing elevated levels of success with leading high production practices. An opportunity to help dental teams nationwide, with Henry Schein, brought her into the world of consulting where she quickly became one of the most respected professionals in the industry.  After successfully sewing the consultative approach into the fabric of sales, naturally, she was later approached to become a Regional Manager expanding her knowledge and impact into sales leadership. As a COO, leading with credibility and effective communication, Vanessa uses her real-world professional experience coupled with her mastery of the business and attention given to strategic delegation, to successfully harmonize clinical excellence with efficient business operations. Virgil regularly advises clients on a wide array of corporate matters, including, assisting investors in buying, selling or investing in Dental Service Organizations, assisting dentists in selling their practices, and assisting Dental Service Organizations in affiliating with dental practices, and creating regulatory compliance business models.</p>

<p>Zane received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Management from Texas A&amp;M University. After beginning his career at Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Associate, he joined the CWA team in 2015.<br />
As a member of the 3to1 Foundation Board of Directors, Zane is active in helping people grow financially both in and out of the consult room. He educates the North Texas community on financial topics in its Accumulating Wealth Seminars and helps raise money to fund the scholarship program.<br />
He is a Certified Public Accountant and Investment Advisor Representative. He is originally from Gunter, Texas. Outside of the office, Zane enjoys spending time with friends and family, and riding his bike.</p>
